The general layout is perfect for the pro controller, but the R button isn’t the most comfortable placement for a jump button and, even worse, clicking the left joy-con in to run in handheld mode is very clunky and rough on the hardware, unfortunately. All DLC is included right on the cartridge, which makes this a great value in terms of sheer content. Dying Light is a first-person action survival horror game with a portentous day-night cycle set in a vast open world. The game itself has aged very well and is extremely addictive, in spite of a steep learning and generally high difficulty overall. Frame rate is mostly stable with the expected dip during more hectic moments, character models are crisp, high-poly, and very detailed, and the environments are gorgeous and immersive aside from some noticeable pop-in at times.
